Number Guessing Game
A hidden number, a range bar that narrows with every hint, and feedback that tells you how warm you're getting. Pure deduction: the winning strategy is to cut the field in half with every single guess.
Four games, one training series, one door. Forge set out to prove a complete game pipeline — brief, design, build, playtest, publish — five times in a row, each game training a different skill: deduction, memory, reaction, precision. This hub is the fifth project and the arcade entrance: every cabinet below is a finished, playable game, the daily challenges rotate at midnight, and the level track shows the road that got here.
Every cabinet is a complete published game from this series. Pick one and play — each opens its own project page.
A hidden number, a range bar that narrows with every hint, and feedback that tells you how warm you're getting. Pure deduction: the winning strategy is to cut the field in half with every single guess.
Flip the cards, find the pairs, and keep the streak alive — consecutive matches heat up a combo multiplier, and every pair you land sings one note higher up the C-major scale. Memory, with momentum.
Wait for the signal, strike the shrinking bullseye, and watch the milliseconds. Then read your own data: fastest and slowest rounds, a distribution chart, and a consistency score most reflex games never show you.
Targets on a canvas clock: hit them before the ring drains, chain combos up to ×4, and climb the rank ladder from Bronze to Diamond across a ten-level campaign — the first Forge game with a true win state.
Three challenges rotate in every midnight from a pool of nine. Finish one in its game, come back, and log it for Forge Points.

Four levels, four different skills, one hub at the end. Each level had to be designed, built and published before the next one opened.
Learn the pipeline on the simplest honest loop: guess, get warmer-or-colder truth, narrow the range, win.
DoneAdd state and timing: a shuffled grid, a lock-step flip engine, combo streaks and a scoring formula that had to be proven by hand.
DoneAdd real-time pressure and real data: millisecond timing, decoy targets, and session statistics computed and stored properly.
DoneThe full engine room: a canvas game loop, particles, combos, ranks, and a ten-level campaign with an actual ending.
DoneThe series finale: all four cabinets under one marquee, a daily challenge rotation, and the record of the whole run. You are standing in it.
Published — 6 Nov 2026The short version of the series design document: one loop for the programme, and the rules every game had to pass.
Pitch: a game-design training series run like a real studio slate — every project ships with its design notes and its exact scoring and difficulty formulas published on its own page, so the work can be inspected, not just played.
Each level deliberately added exactly one new discipline — deduction logic, then state and timing, then real-time data, then a full canvas engine — so the difficulty curve of the series mirrors the difficulty curves inside the games.
Every Forge game had to pass the same gate: a new player understands the whole loop — what to do, what it pays, what it costs — inside their first thirty seconds, with no tutorial standing between them and the game.
Feedback is layered but never decorative: rising pitch on a streak, hit-stop, a screen shake scaled to the moment, a floating score. Turn sound off or switch on reduced motion and every one of those layers steps aside quietly.
Scoring and difficulty are never vibes in this series: each game's page prints its exact formulas — the Target Hunt window curve, the Card Memory score equation — and the balancing reasoning behind them.
Records stay where they were earned. This hub shows the one series mark that is on record — Target Hunt's best of 180 — and points you to each game's own page for its own bests, instead of inventing a merged leaderboard.
The same five-step workflow as every Forge project, shown as it stands for the series finale.
Close the Forge series with a hub that presents all four rebuilt games as one arcade, in English, at professional standard.
DoneMarquee cabinets for the four games, a seeded daily-challenge rotation awarding Forge Points, and the five-node level track.
DonePixel-marquee cabinets, date-seeded challenge rotation, session Forge Points ledger, and the series level track — one page, no sign-up.
